Pre-audit
For sustainability and finance teams of listed companies and REITs heading into assurance on their sustainability reporting. An evaluative pre-check reads your document set the way the auditor soon will: everything side by side, consistently, from the first page to the last.
The result is a findings report: what we found, where it sits and why it matters. So that your conversation with the auditor is about your figures, not your contradictions.
The risk
Annual report, sustainability statement, taxonomy annex: each document is defensible on its own, and yet the set can contradict itself. A figure that differs between two tables. An ambition in the foreword that the data points further on do not carry. A policy claim that the process description contradicts.
That contradiction creeps in because different teams work on different documents and nobody reads the full set side by side, consistently. The auditor will. Every contradiction the auditor finds first becomes their question and your problem.
The pre-check
We test your document set before the formal review: which claims are carried by a source, where documents contradict each other, which obligation has no supporting evidence and which reference is outdated. Every finding is anchored in the text itself, with its location attached.
After the pre-check you do not know that everything is in order; nobody can honestly promise you that. You do know which risks sit in the document set and which questions to raise internally before the auditor raises them.

Independence
An adviser who helped draft your sustainability statement reads their own choices back and reads past them. That is not a reproach; it is the reason a second look from outside is a separate role.
Ramirez does not write your reporting and has no stake in the conclusion. We deliver findings, not text. That is exactly what lets us read the way the reviewer reads.
Status
This is a service in development. We are building it with design partners: companies that bring in their real document set and help decide where the bar sits. We would rather say that honestly than suggest a client list that does not yet exist.

The boundary
A pre-check is not an audit, not assurance and not an attestation. It does not replace the formal review by your statutory auditor or accredited provider, and it takes no position on conformity.
What it does do: show what in your document set does not hold up, while you still have time to fix it. Ramirez flags; you decide.
